Eric and his crew installed all new Pex piping to replace the ancient galvanized pipes in my condo as well as in four other units in our six unit building. The work was speedy and well done, including very expert patching of the drywall that had to be opened to run the pipes. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing pipe work done.

We used Express Plumping for repiping project for our home. Eirc and his team were really great, not only they finished the whole project in given time but also made sure to complete the patching of dry walls. I took quotes from multiple vendors, not only they were cost effective, but essentially the only vendor who provided services for getting inspection done and patching of dry wall. Replace water pipes. Eric and his crew replaced all the existing water pipes, cutting and patching everything in one day. It was all done very professionally.

I needed the pipes in my condo replaced, and a few days after calling them they were able to come over to make an estimate, and less than a week after the estimate they were able to replace all the pipes.

If you are thinking about replacing the C-PVC piping in your house with PEX or Copper, then this review will speak to you. Eric and the crew at Express Plumbing & Repiping have been a joy to work with. From my experience these past 2 days I have learned that Repiping is no small feat, especially when the house is 5,600 sq ft spread over three floors and built in 1998 using C-PVC. As I quickly learned, C-PVC becomes increasingly brittle as the years go by. After 23 years of use in my home the C-PVC had become so brittle that I could crush and shatter the pipe in my hand. The first hint I had problems was when our Plumber refused to touch the stuff until the water main was shut off at the street. The guys at Express Plumbing & Repiping are real pros. Their price was reasonable and included everything except final painting. While their competition warned they would be leaving holes in the wall from accessing pipes, Express Plumbing & Repiping was the only one who said they would repair them. Much to my amazement Express Plumbing & Repiping quoted me only 2 days to do the project, not 1-2 weeks like the other companies quoted. I personally was skeptical. On Monday morning (day 1) they arrived on time at 9:00am and immediately set loose 8 plumbers who swarmed the house. They divided our home into 8 sections and each plumber took responsibility for their section. By 7:00pm that evening they were done stripping out all the old C-PVC and replaced it with PEX. Before going home that evening they turned the water back on and each plumber verified they had no leaks. The whole process for 8 plumbers took 10 hours. No need for hotels here. Express had our water on before going home. On Tuesday they arrived at 9:00am, reverified there were no leaks and immediately began patching the sheetrock holes. Also, they reinstalled the tile previously removed from a shower. For patching they used a quick drying sheetrock joint compound which only took 15 minutes to dry rather than traditional materials that would have taken hours. By 3:00pm they were in the final stretch of texturing all the sheetrock holes, vacuuming their individual work areas, taking down plastic, rolling up floor protectors and hauling away the trash. At 5:00pm they had finished reinsulating the pipes and double checked their work leaving my wife and I to just touch up paint their patches. While the other quotes warned we should consider staying at a hotel for a week or two Express simply did the job quickly and did not inconvenience us at all.
